The size decision is the air conditioner decision
Everything else in a camper is easy. A converter, a fridge on its gas-electric setting, lights, laptops, a coffee maker taken in turns: a 2200-class unit (1,800 to 1,900 rated watts in this group) handles all of it.
The rooftop air conditioner is the cliff. Starting one takes a surge of power that 2200-class units cannot deliver alone, which is why the class above exists. The Champion 4500's 4,500 starting watts are aimed squarely at it, and Honda pitches the EU3200i for a 13,500 BTU RV AC. That is the whole size decision: AC means the 3000-4500 class (or two paralleled small units, the Honda pairs to 4,400W), no AC means you can carry 43 to 55 lb instead of 99 to 109.
The weight gap deserves respect. The Champion 4500 is 99.2 lb and the Generac iQ3500 is 109.1 lb; those live in a truck bed or on a rack. The exception is the Honda EU3200i, 2,600 rated watts at 59.1 lb, one person can still lift it. You pay for that exception: $2,800-2,900.

Check the outlet panel before you buy
A "30A RV generator" often is not one. Only two units here have the TT-30R outlet a standard 30A RV cord plugs into: the Westinghouse iGen2550 and the Champion 4500. The Honda EU3200i and Generac iQ3500 have 30A twist-locks, which need an adapter. The Honda EU2200i has only a 20A duplex, and the Champion 2500 reaches 30A only through its optional ParaLINK kit. The Yamaha's page claims a 30A RV outlet, one of that unit's few clear wins.
An adapter is $20 and solves it. But if plug-in-and-go matters to you, the outlet column changes the ranking more than the watt column does.
Dual fuel: mostly about storage
Champion's two dual fuel units can run on propane, and the case for it is less about cost than about how generators actually die: gasoline going stale in a carburetor between trips. Propane stores indefinitely, and a 20-lb tank runs the 2500 for up to 25 hours at quarter load. The cost is output, 1,665W running on propane against 1,850W on gasoline for the 2500, and 3,150W against 3,500W for the 4500. If the AC is the reason you bought the 4500, do the math on the propane number, not the gasoline one.
CO shutoff: two units here do not have it
A generator's exhaust in the wrong place kills people, and a CO shutoff shuts the engine down when concentrations build. Honda, Champion, and Generac all include one (CO-MINDER, CO Shield, COsense). The Westinghouse iGen2550 does not, its own spec table says so, and Yamaha lists none for the EF2200iS. Both are otherwise decent value; we still would not pick either for camping near the rig when the equivalent Champion has the sensor and costs about the same as the Westinghouse plus a bad night.
What we would skip
The Generac GP2500i, because it publishes neither a dBA figure nor an outlet list, and at $650-720 you can have the Champion 2500 with dual fuel and fully published specs instead. The Yamaha EF2200iS, unless discounted, because it posts the highest noise figures here, lists no CO sensor, and sits in a product line Yamaha shows every sign of retiring. And note we picked the Champion 4500 partly because the obvious alternative, Westinghouse's iGen4500, is discontinued, its URL now serves the iGen5000 successor, which drops the CO sensor.
Add up the watts before you pick the class
The right generator is one size bigger than your real loads, not the biggest one at the store.
