Seven pieces of off-grid power gear are selling well below list price right now. All prices below came from the manufacturers’ own product pages on July 17, 2026.
One thing before the list. In this category, the list price is mostly theater. Power stations and solar panels sit “on sale” for much of the year, and the sticker exists to make the discount look dramatic. A $699 list on a panel that routinely sells for $379 is not a $320 gift. The number that matters is the price against what the thing typically sells for, and that is the standard we are using here.
Power stations
Jackery Explorer 1000 v2: $400 to $449, list $799. This is the drop worth acting on. The sale lows we have seen this month are around half of list on a current-generation unit: 1,070Wh LiFePO4, 1,500W inverter, 23.8 lb. Its typical sale band has been $450 to $800, so $400 to $449 is low even by sale-price standards.
EcoFlow DELTA 3: $549, list $699. Same 1,024Wh core as the DELTA 3 Plus, 1,800W inverter, 56-minute wall recharge, but a single 500W solar input instead of dual MPPT. If you charge from the wall or one panel, this is the better buy of the two.
EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus: $689, list $799. The dual 500W MPPT inputs (1,000W total solar) and expandability are what the extra $140 buys. A real but modest cut.
Solar
Jackery SolarSaga 200W: $379, list $699. The gap between list and street is widest here, which tells you what the list price is for. At $379 it is a fair price for a current bifacial folding panel with an IP68 rating. At $699 it would not be.
Renogy 400W Solar Starter Kit: $449.99, list $619.99. Four 100W rigid panels, brackets, cables, and a Wanderer Li 30A controller. Know what you are getting: the included controller is PWM, not MPPT, which costs you some harvest. Still the cheapest verified path to 400W on a roof.
BougeRV 200W Rigid Solar System Kit: $719.99, list $999.99. Unlike the Renogy starter kit, this is a complete system: 200W bifacial panel, 30A MPPT controller with low-temperature cutoff, a 100Ah LiFePO4 battery, and a 1,000W pure sine inverter. That is why it costs more than a panels-and-controller kit at twice the wattage.
Batteries
Renogy Core Mini 100Ah: $240.24, list $307.99. A 21.8 lb LiFePO4 battery with a 100A BMS and low-temperature charging cutoff for under $250 is a good number. The catch: it was backordered when we checked, and it has no Bluetooth, so app monitoring needs a separate shunt.
What we would actually do
If you need a 1kWh power station, the Explorer 1000 v2 at $400 to $449 and the DELTA 3 at $549 are both priced to buy, and the differences (recharge speed, solar input, app features) matter more than the price gap. Our spec-by-spec breakdown is at power stations compared. If you are wiring panels to a battery bank instead, start with best solar kits before assuming the biggest discount is the best kit.
